Split herrings, salted and cold smoked over oak to cure and intensify the flavour of the fish.
A popular and traditional breakfast dish from East Anglia, grill or simmer in milk and butter and serve with toast.
Each pack will contain approximately 200g of smoked fish (i.e 1 large split herring)
