Three ways to buy your fish
Sustainable British fish.
Our fish comes from sustainable British fishing communities. We pick fish that’s in season and keep the whole catch as this helps sustain healthy fish stocks. This is a more ethical way to fish our UK waters.
This means that sometimes you may want a certain type of fish but it isn’t in season or you may receive a fish that you haven’t tried before. Our in-house chef is here to help, with delicious and simple recipes for all types of fish.

A subscription box includes whole, filleted or chef-prepared fresh fish.
When you subscribe for a fish box, your payment is processed each month on the date you subscribed. You will receive your monthly delivery on the week you’ve specified.
You will be notified via email and/or text about your upcoming order 1-3 days before its due to be delivered. These emails have links to edit and manage your order and subscription.

If you place your order by the end of day Sunday of the week you want your fish, it will be delivered on the Thursday or Friday of that week.
Once you order, you will receive a tracking email when your order is shipped. All our fish is fresh and if you don’t eat on the day, it can be frozen. Your order is packed in eco-friendly insulation with plenty of ice to ensure that it stays fresh during transit.

You can order your fish online and pick it up from Hackney City Farm, 1a Goldsmiths Row, E2 8QA. Collection is on Wednesday between 4.30-7.30pm or Thursday 10.30am-7.30pm. You can order fish for collection either weekly or fortnightly.
If you can’t collect your fish, you can:
• let us know by email no later than 9am Sunday, the week before your collection. If you don’t inform us in time and don’t collect your fish, we’ll make sure it goes to a good home, but you will still be charged for it.
• Send a friend or family member – they just need to give your name when collecting it at Hackney City Farm. You don’t even need to tell us beforehand!
• Collect a double share next time. If you’re away one week and you’d like to skip a week and collect double next time, just let us know by 9am Sunday the week before your collection.

We want you to be 100% satisfied. We will refund or replace any item that doesn’t arrive in perfect condition. Please email us at hello@soleshare.net with your order number and a description of your delivery.

On the rare occasion that the box is damaged or delayed due to the weather or an issue with the carrier, then please email us at hello@soleshare.net or use the contact form on the website. Any items that are no longer cold should be discarded and not eaten.

You can log into your account and cancel your subscription anytime. Your scheduled delivery week will be completed up until the end of the month that you have already paid for.

To ensure our boxed fish is sustainable from the boat to your door, we encourage you to order all the fish you need for the month, in your delivery. You should freeze the fish straight away to keep it fresh and ready for when you need it.
All our fish is fresh and can be in the fridge for 3 days before they need eating.
